The Sound of Philadelphia Mural Series

I'll be honoring "The Sound of Philadelphia," embracing its role as a record label, genre, and iconic song that shaped our city's culture. My recent mural "The Rhythm of Philadelphia" paid tribute to TSOP's impact on Soul Train. Continuing this series, I'll collaborate with middle school students on an interactive mural titled "The Groove of Philadelphia." The mural features vibrant Soul Train inspired designs and includes a QR code for a playlist of top hits, in addition to an interactive dance step diagram if space permits. Digital lesson plans will be released to the public, allowing educators and community members to explore the cultural significance of the artwork.
